Holy schmoly, people, do you now about NANOPARTICLES?!!!
I am reading up on this because Ringana, a product I love, is nanoparticle free so started reading up on it.
According to AI, nanoparticles are tiny particles, typically between 1 and 100 nanometers in size, and can be made from a variety of materials. These materials include metals, metal oxides, ceramics, semiconductors, polymers, and biological lipids. They can also be composed of carbon-based materials, like fullerenes.
Nanoparticles are often used in cosmetics, deodorants, sunscreens etc to help deliver the potent properties of the product, however, there can be a major toxicity to this.
Some nanoparticles dissolve but some accumulate in organs. Also they are associated with inflammation in lungs and heart.
These darn things even float off in the air and can be breathed.
I am mindful of what I ingest and apply to my body and, knock on wood, at 58 thankfully in good shape. I attribute it to being conscientious of what I eat, read, put on my body, as well as mindful of my environment because, among many other things, those wily nanoparticles might be toxic and want to ensure that I do not use products with them or at least minimize intake as much as possible, and continue to learn more.
